Potassium Polyacrylate is a lightly cross-linked polyacrylate polymer, similar in structure and function to Sodium Polyacrylate-based Super Absorbent Polymer, but neutralised with potassium hydroxide instead of sodium hydroxide. This gives the polymer the added benefit of releasing potassium — an essential plant macronutrient — as it gradually breaks down in soil, making it particularly well suited to agricultural and horticultural applications.

The primary application. Mixed into soil or potting media, Potassium Polyacrylate absorbs irrigation water and rainfall, storing it within its gel structure and releasing it gradually to plant roots, significantly reducing irrigation frequency and improving drought tolerance.
